Foundations of ACT: A 2-day experiential workshop

March 12 & 13, 2026 - University of South Florida Campus, Tampa FL

Join us for an intensive, in-person workshop designed to deepen your understanding of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Through experiential learning in a supportive environment, we’ll explore ACT’s philosophical foundations and build fluency with the six core processes that support psychological flexibility. You’ll leave with tools, case examples, and practical strategies to integrate ACT more confidently into your clinical work.

Built by Clinicians Who Care About the Work

Ascend Learning Collective was created by practicing psychologists and education experts who were tired of continuing education that checked boxes but didn’t change practice. We wanted training that felt relevant, engaging, and grounded in how therapy actually unfolds.

Evidence-based, APA-approved learning designed to sharpen clinical skill, deepen flexibility, and make the work more effective — not more complicated.

What clinicians say

after training with ALC

  • I’ve taken a lot of CEU courses over the years, but nothing like Ascend Learning Collective. The ACT training was engaging, practical, and fun. The group supervision community has also been a game-changer; it’s rare to find something that feeds both your clinical skills and your sense of connection as a therapist

    Amanda Schmitt, LCSW

  • ALC is the first group that offers learning that makes me feel excited, not drained. It felt like actual, meaningful learning.
